Overview
The Language Learning Team advocates for and develops structures that allow schools to offer robust language learning pathways for all students, regardless of ward. We believe that every 果冻传媒 graduate should have access to high quality language programming that leads them to obtain advanced language proficiency and the Seal of Biliteracy so they are prepared to participate as global thinkers in a 21st century society.
Program Highlights
Students are encouraged to participate in district-wide world language focused events, including the 果冻传媒 Chinese New Year Celebration, the 果冻传媒 Language Learning Festival, Festival de Poesía, and other events and cultural celebrations.
High school students are eligible to earn the , which recognizes students who have demonstrated advanced proficiency in two or more languages by high school graduation. The Seal of Biliteracy is recognized as a statement of accomplishment for future employers and colleges.
